12, 2003 Robert Leonard Yoder, 79, of Syracuse. He was born in Baltimore,
MD and lived in Syracuse most of his life. He was a policeman, employed by
the City of Syracuse Police Department for 20 years before working at
Crucible Specialty Metals. He was an Army veteran of W.W. II and a member
of St. Michael's Lutheran Church. Mr. Yoder was a former member of the
Police Benevolent Association. He was also a member of the Police
Benevolent Retirees Club, Crucible Recreation Club, Pine Grove Country
Club, and Moose Club. He was predeceased by a son Robert Yoder Jr. and a
daughter Debra Yoder-Steenwerth. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the
former Shirley R. Frost; one daughter, Robin Yoder of Camillus and several
nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Buranich
Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in St.
Michael's Lutheran Church, 110 Hinsdale Rd., Camillus. Friends may call
today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga
Valley Cemetery. Published in the
