Charlie Dawson December 4, 2006 DAWSON, Charles Died peacefully in Sacramento on December 4 at age 92. A native of Syracuse, New York, retired as a Captain on the Syracuse Police after an eventful 35-year career. He moved to Sacramento in 2002. He is survived by son Michael (Janet, Shira, and Jacob) of Sacramento, two daughters, the Reverand Judith Burrows of Williamsville, New York and Lorraine Cox of North Bay, New York, son John Dawson of Norman, OK, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He will be buried beside his wife of 59 years, Jean Roberts Dawson, in DeWitt, New York. Published in the Sacramento Bee from 12/7/2006 - 12/8/2006.
