William M. Sullivan, 88, of Clearwater, Fla., died Sept. 23. Born in Syracuse, he lived there until 1980. He was a police officer in Syracuse for 30 years and a member of Police Benevolent Association and Fraternal Order of Police. He was a member of Light of Christ Church in Clearwater and was a third degree member of Knights of Columbus in Syracuse.Survivors: His wife, Margaret; a daughter, Patricia Mabe of Syracuse; a son, Thomas of Palm Springs, Calif.; a stepson, Steven Loughlin of Arizona; a stepdaughter, Debra Loughlin of Las Vegas; two sisters, Margaret Liro of Mattydale and Marie Smith of New York state; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
